Sikkim Darjeeling : 7 Nights 8 Days

Upon your arrival at IXB/NJP Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Pelling, a picturesque hill station nestled amidst the Himalayas. Enjoy the scenic drive as you journey through lush green landscapes and winding roads. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and rest for the day.

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit the renowned Pemayangtse Monastery, a significant Buddhist monastery offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Explore the ruins of Rabdtense Monastery, a historical site dating back to the 17th century. For a thrilling experience, try the Sky Walk, a suspended walkway offering panoramic views of the valley. You will also visit Kechopalri Lake, a sacred lake believed to fulfill wishes, and the majestic Kanchenjunga Waterfalls. Spend the rest of the day exploring the charming town of Pelling and indulging in local cuisine. Overnight in Pelling.

After breakfast, begin your journey from Pelling to Gangtok. En route, visit Namchi Chardham, a complex of four temples representing the Char Dhams of Hinduism. If time permits, you can also enjoy a thrilling white water rafting adventure on the Teesta River. Upon reaching Gangtok, check-in at your hotel and rest for the evening.

Embark on an exciting day trip to Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude alpine lake situated near the Indo-China border. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. You can also try a Yak ride and visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to an Indian soldier. Note: Nathula Pass, an Indo-China border point, can be visited at an additional cost and requires prior confirmation at least five days in advance due to permit requirements. Foreigners are generally not allowed to visit Nathula Pass. After the excursion, you will return to your hotel in Gangtok for the night.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Lachung, a picturesque village nestled in North Sikkim. Along the way, you will visit Singhik, known for its stunning views of Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu. You will also see the Seven Sister Waterfalls, the Chungthang Confluence, and the Vim Nala Water Falls. Check in at your hotel in Lachung and spend the night there.

The sixth day will be an excursion to Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers. This alpine valley is famous for its scenic beauty and hot springs. You will drive to Yumthang Valley early in the morning, enjoy the breathtaking landscape, and then return to your hotel in Lachung for lunch. You will spend another night in Lachung.

On the seventh day, after breakfast, you will transfer back to Gangtok. The evening will be free for personal activities, allowing you to explore the local markets or simply relax. You will spend the night in Gangtok.

n the eighth and final day, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) for your departure, concluding your memorable trip to Sikkim.
